Whenever I travel, I always look up the local markets and make sure I set aside time to visit. For me, it is the most authenticate experience in a foreign country, the heart & soul of the local pulse.
Markets sell food, veggies, flowers, cake to crafts, where you often see the most unique items in that country, the unpretentious people who carry on life as it has always been.
The pandemic makes me miss travel very much, moreover for experiencing a different culture. The upside of Shelter-In-Place, though, is that I finally had time to organize the photos of many markets I have been over the years.
