Six Figures cocktail

Today, June 6th is the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. After the D-Day Normandy Landings in 1944, General Eisenhower was introduced to the Boulard family and Calvados Boulard V.S.O.P quickly became a favorite of the General and his troops.

This year, Calvados Boulard is teaming up with Cell Phone for Soldiers, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing cost-free communications services and emergency funding to active-duty and veteran military members, where for every photo posted on Instagram using #ToastToTroops, Boulard will donate $5.00 to cell phones for Soldiers.

Here is my participation in this cause, an upgraded version of Six Figures, which was an over-elaborate brandy daisy. I used only French and American spirits in this drink to celebrate the special friendship between the two countries.
